Oreti House felt hats are made from a single cone of dyed wool shaped into four different moulds. Wool has the ability to memorise its dried shape, which makes the felt hats warm, light and durable whilst being very comfortable. The slight lanolin content of the wool makes them water resistant whilst the rigorous felting process makes them very tough. The process mixes the colours and threads giving a marbling effect. Each hat is highly individual yet functional, artistic yet practical. Four styles are available in six colours and three head sizes – small 56 cm medium 60 cm and large 64 cm head circumference. 

The Feltier has a round head shape similar to The Flapper but with an even broad brim, it is finished with a hat band and back tie.
